There are several things DoNext has going on in its favor: it is offered for the awesome price of free, it does not require an installation, and it is incredibly easy to use. What can you do with the application? Well, you can easily write down to-dos. Write down the priority, the task, and the time and you’re done.

As mentioned above, DoNext does not require an installation. To get started with the application, you need to download a very small executable (it’s less than 1MB in size actually), extract the executable and XML inside, then run the executable. When you run the executable, the DoNext launches and you can start enjoying the functionality it has to offer.

By default, the interface presents a Priority, Task, and Time columns and a few rows. If you want to, you can remove some of the existing columns/rows or you can add some more – the choice is up to you. Click on the red bar to the left or on the arrow in the upper right hand side and the interface will minimize. Click on the minimize button and the application will hide in the system tray.

Using DoNext is a very simple matter. Going with the application’s default column setup, you need only type in some info in the Priority, Task, and Time columns. This allows you to quickly and easily write down tasks that you need to perform. Unfortunately, the application does not have some sort of notification features.

You will not have to part with your money to use DoNext on your PC. You can use the application for free for as long as you want.

With DoNext, a free and portable application, you can quickly and easily write down to-dos.

Pros

DoNext does not need to be installed (it is portable). You can add and remove columns and rows. The interface supports Notebrowser skins. You will quickly get accustomed to the interface and the functionality of the program. DoNext is free.

Cons

Some may say the application is overly simplistic.
